Couple die in hospital after Peterborough collision |
||
|
Dear Resident, A couple who were involved in a serious collision in Peterborough have died in hospital. The collision involved a silver Ford Kuga and a white DAF lorry and happened at about 11.20am on 9 March, on the roundabout on the A1139 Fletton Parkway, at the junction with Boongate. Officers and paramedics attended and the driver of the Ford Kuga, Graham Tabbitt, 81, and wife Virginia, 80, both of Victoria Avenue, Whittlesey, were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries. They passed away in the same hospital over the weekend of 21 March. The driver of the lorry was uninjured and remained at the scene to help officers with their enquiries. An investigation was launched and anyone who may have witnessed either vehicle before the collision, anyone with relevant dash cam footage, or anyone with any information about the collision was urged to contact police. People can still report information online here quoting Operation Harlesden, or incident 163 of 9 March. Call 101 if you do not have internet access. Kind regards, | ||
